Plug in coffee maker

Fill back reservoir with desired amount of water, less-stronger, more-lighter

Push power button

Insert Pod

Close lid

Push large brew button

The maker is quiet so allow a minute for water to heat and it will start brew once water is hot.

HOT WATER ONLY for tea, cocoa, etc.

Same instructions above just do not insert a pod. The act of lifting the pod compartment and closing it again will allow the hot water to run through machine without a pod.
